This is the kind of flowlight/orbital I just got! Except mine are "air" and "water"— blue&white and blue& green. And I have yet to get this good. This guy reverses directions so smoothly. And d00d, orbiting is quite an arm workout. Gotta practice more. That's what I'ma do for my final study breaks.
The lights are quite good quality, but the plastic feels kinda cheap—I felt like I was going to break the little battery covers when I was trying to put the batteries in. There are 11 modes, a few for ambient lighting, and the rest specially intended for spinning. Here's a demonstration of the modes.
I bought mine online at liquid-e-motions. Use the code "cupcake" or "giggles" to get 5% off and two free drops (keychain lights with a few different modes). They also have sales sometimes, so check it out (yeah, the site looks 1999, but up-to-date on the products). And the raver lifestyle is kinda expensive.. good thing I'm not a hardcore raver. Instead I also like indie music and so go to shows, which adds to the dent in my wallet/credit card bill as well. But yeah, lights definitely multiply the fun factor at raves.

Hi! Just saw your post - this is Prisna from flowtoys. The material that the flowlights are made of is polycarbonate, which is the same plastic as bulletproof eyewear and the highest quality clear plastic in terms of durability. Don't worry, you won't break the door. However the lights can break as nothing is indestructible -- not sure if you got the warranty info, but they come with a lifetime warranty and replacement policy, so contact us if you have any problems.
