You've probably heard the singles "I Know What I Am" and "Death By Diamonds and Pearls". But this album isn't all downright fun, sing-along, rock. Slower rock ballads/sort of indie-ish-maybe songs are juxtaposed between the real rock ones. Another band member (female) takes on the lead vocals on a few of them, which confused me at first until I recalled that part in the popmatters review. Overall an enjoyable album.

I am one of those persons who do not like real screaming way-too-fast drums punk rock (such as AFI's earlier stuff) but like sum41, blink182, and the current AFI sound. A reviewer on amazon:

*If you like Sing The Sorrow and Decemberunderground you will most likely enjoy this album.
*This is Rock, not punk. (I don't mean that in a negative light, but from a musical perspective)
*If you want hard, fast, punch you in the face punk rock, you will probably be disappointed.

OMG I wish I were there! But I was still down in San Diego doing stupid summer classes! Gyahhzz! But big ups to the guy who took and uploaded the vid. The performance looks EXCELLENT! definitely rocked hard. (who says psy trance doesn't rock crowds? looking forward to when psy trance gets main stage. remember John 00 Fleming at Nocturnal, hella rocked it.)
