First go round with the 7D with the nifty fifty in the pocket. Still working with LCD and hand held to get stabilization but it will come around. Very little color correction, just beautiful glass on the 7D.I miss this, too.
As the new Kirkham St bike lanes join the old Kirkham St bike lanes, elite US Navy fighter pilots do precision doughnuts in the intersection high above Ninth and Kirkham, an awesome display of adolescent petrowankage and lethal force. I just liked the futurisimo lines here...10.09.2010 (flickr)

In Portland, skateboarding has been woven into parks and streets in the same manner as cycling or soccer. Skateboarding is illegal in downtowns across the country. Portland’s downtown is marked with “skate routes” featuring signs with a skateboarding stick figure. In most cities, skaters consider it a big victory when a skatepark is built. Portland is building a network of 19 skateparks scattered throughout the city. Skaters even have one of their own in City Hall: Tom Miller, chief of staff to Portland Mayor Sam Adams, rode into politics through skateboard advocacy and has continued pushing for skateparks from the inside.

"I think the bicycle has done more to emancipate women than anything else in the world," feminist pioneer Susan B. Anthony said in 1896. "It gives a woman a feeling of freedom and self-reliance. The moment she takes her seat she knows she can't get into harm unless she gets off her bicycle, and away she goes, the picture of free, untrammeled womanhood."
Two weeks ago Juergen and his friends celebrated the TOTC III shoe release Party in cooperation with Planet Sports and Skatehalle Berlin.
The Vert Ramp Jam hosted by Juergen Horrwarth was breathtaking and took place in a high level, at the end Sam Einstein and the Berlin Local Johan Borchert were delighted to have won two Wildcards for the CLASH 2011 Vert Ramp Jam sponsored by Relentless. A traditional BBQ with special food from Juergen's hometown and Swabian beer made the event into a round relaxed event surrounded by Juergen's friends.
The organizer, Jon Cordoba, has turned that epic event into an annual gathering currently based in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. Also known as Rocky Point, the beach town on the Sea of Cortez is an up-and-coming tourist destination in Northern Mexico far from the border communities. Last year in its new location, the event drew more than 250 couchsurfers, and is now gearing up for the fun shenanigans again in 2011. The event will be held this coming June 9-12th.The event isn’t all a party. Aside from the party boat, ultra light rides, hikes, snorkeling, pub crawls, tent decorating contests, pillow fights and musical acts on stage, the group has organized workshops and delivered donations to local orphanages in the past. The event encourages attendees to “dream up what you would like to contribute at the campout,” but advises that “whatever is dreamed up in those wonderful minds of yours; please make sure that we can clean it up easily. We do not want to disrupt or destroy the beauty of our surroundings.”
